This meme came from a student, Amanda, of Paul Bogush. She started a meme last week that she hopes will sweep through the blogosphere. She writes in her post:
I know mostly everyone has heard “well what things do you want to do before you die”. There’s books that say 100 things to see before you die or 50 things to do before you die. But I’m wondering right now if you had to pick 10 things to do before you die what would they be and do you have reasons why?
10 Things I want to do before I die (In no particular order)
1. I want to see Alaska while it is still snowy and icy. I want to see the glaciers and the animals and experience being "on top of the world!"
2. Publish a book. I love reading and writing and learning. Someday i would like to immortalize myself in the wonderful world of books and literature.
3. Dance at my sons' and grandchildren's weddings. Although there are no imminent weddings or grandchildren that I know of, I want to be part of a large and connected multi-generational family.
4. Learn to play an instrument. I have always wanted to really play an instrument but never had the time. So, one day, I want to learn.
5. LEARN - There are so many things I want to learn and so many things that I don't even know about yet that I want to learn. How to speak some more languages, create stained glass, carpentry, etc. I want to learn every day of my life.
6. TRAVEL - I want to travel to as many continents as possible. One of goals is to meet people all over and learn about all different cultures and people.
7. A lifelong dream of mine is to travel the world, circumnavigate the globe on a cruise. If I won a million dollars or more, I would definitely do this.
8. Become a college professor...maybe even with a doctorate. I go back and forth on this one.
9. Have a house on a beach somewhere. Sit on the deck or porch and overlook the ocean and spend time with friends and family.
10. Live in New York City near Central Park, at least part of the year.
The funny thing is, as I sat here and thought about what I really want to do that I haven't...most of the things are things that I can't afford...yet. I guess that means that I am doing, or have done what I want to do. That makes me feel good and connected to my inner self and dreams.

And here is a an extra challenge for you. Tag at least one person that you have never had any correspondence with and who’s blog you have never visited. Someone outside of your normal PLN. After searching around I found a blog written by Heather Cochran. She is a student in education who has a blog reflecting on her experiences in Costa Rica. Heather, hello, nice to meet you I’m Meg, can you reflect forward for me and tell me “10 Things that you would like to do before you die?
